1. Finalidad del producto
Estas gafas están diseñadas exclusivamente para la observación directa del Sol durante un eclipse solar u otras situaciones puntuales en las que se desee mirar el disco solar de forma directa.
Incorporan un filtro especial de muy baja transmitancia que reduce la radiación ultravioleta (UV), visible e infrarroja (IR) a niveles adecuados para la observación directa del Sol, siempre que se utilicen correctamente y de acuerdo con estas instrucciones.
IMPORTANTE: Estas gafas no son gafas de sol convencionales y no deben utilizarse para conducir ni para protección diaria frente a la luz solar.
2. Usuarios a los que va destinado el producto
El producto está destinado al público general, incluidos adultos y menores de edad, siempre que los menores se encuentren en todo momento bajo la supervisión de un adulto responsable.
El adulto supervisor será el encargado de:
- Revisar el estado de las gafas antes de cada uso.
- Colocar correctamente las gafas al menor.
- Vigilar que el menor no retire las gafas mientras mira al Sol.
- Asegurarse de que se respetan todas las advertencias de este documento.
3. Advertencias de seguridad esenciales

- Nunca mire al Sol sin protección adecuada.

- Deje de usar las gafas si nota molestias.
4. Comprobación del producto antes de cada uso
- Inspeccione montura y filtro sin mirar al Sol.
- Mire una luz interior intensa: el filtro debe verse uniforme, sin puntos brillantes ni defectos.
- Si detecta defectos, NO UTILICE las gafas.
5. Colocación y uso correcto
- Póngase de espaldas al Sol antes de colocarse las gafas.
- Póngaselas asegurando que no entra luz por los laterales.
- Gire lentamente la cabeza hacia el Sol.
- Realice descansos frecuentes.
- Para dejar de observar, aparte la vista del Sol antes de quitarse las gafas.
6. Recomendaciones sobre tiempo de observación
Hacer pausas regulares. Si nota molestias o cambios en la visión, deje de observar inmediatamente.
7. Conservación, almacenamiento y limpieza
- No doblar ni arrugar el filtro.
- Guardar en lugar seco, protegido de calor, humedad, químicos y objetos punzantes.
- No usar productos químicos sobre el filtro.
- Limpiar solo con paño muy suave y seco.
8. Vida útil y sustitución
El filtro puede deteriorarse con el tiempo aunque parezca intacto.
Recomendaciones:
- Respetar la fecha de uso seguro indicada en el producto o embalaje.
- Desechar si alcanza la fecha, si ha sufrido calor, deformación o muestra defectos.
9. Eliminación del producto
- No reutilizarlas para observar el Sol.
- Depositar en los contenedores adecuados (papel/cartón y plástico).
- Evitar que otros las usen como si fueran seguras.

3. Essential safety warnings

It is FORBIDDEN to combine these glasses with binoculars, telescopes, cameras, lenses or any optical device.

4. Checking the product before each use
- Inspect frame and filter in good lighting, without looking at the Sun.
- Look at a strong indoor light: the filter must appear uniformly dark with no bright dots or defects.
- If any defect is detected, DO NOT USE the glasses.
5. Fitting and correct use
- Stand with your back to the Sun before putting on the glasses.
- Fit them ensuring no direct light enters from the sides.
- Turn slowly toward the Sun.
- Take frequent breaks.
- To stop observing: turn away from the Sun first, then remove the glasses.
6. Observation time recommendations
Take regular breaks. Stop immediately if discomfort or visual changes occur.
7. Storage, care and cleaning
- Do not bend or crease the filter.
- Store in a dry place, protected from heat, humidity, chemicals and sharp objects.
- Do not use chemical cleaners.
- Clean only with a very soft, dry cloth.
8. Service life and replacement
The filter may deteriorate over time even if it looks intact.
- Respect the "safe to use until" indication.
- Discard if the date is reached, if exposed to extreme conditions or if defects appear.
9. Disposal
- Do not reuse them for observing the Sun.
- Dispose of in appropriate local recycling containers.
- Prevent others from reusing them unsafely.
